Gerald Gaus

Gerald Gaus (1952–2020) was an American philosopher and the founding editor of the journal Politics, Philosophy & Economics. He served as the James E. Rogers Professor of Philosophy at the University of Arizona. His extensive body of work includes titles such as The Order of Public Reason, The Tyranny of the Ideal: Justice in a Diverse Society, and Public Reason and Diversity: Reinterpretations of Liberalism.
