Gillian Beer

Gillian Beer is a British literary critic and academic. She served as the King Edward VII Professor of English Literature at the University of Cambridge from 1994 to 2002. Additionally, she held the position of President of Clare Hall between 1994 and 2001. Her work is recognized within the fields of philology and English scholarship.
