Gillian Wearing

Gillian Wearing is an English conceptual artist born in 1963 and a member of the Young British Artists. A recipient of the 1997 Turner Prize, she was elected to the Royal Academy of Arts in 2007. Her diverse body of work includes photography, film, and sculpture, most notably the statue of suffragist Millicent Fawcett located in London's Parliament Square.
