Hank Thomas

Henry James Thomas is an American civil rights activist and entrepreneur born in 1941. He was one of the original 13 Freedom Riders who participated in the 1961 bus protests against racial segregation across the American South. During these demonstrations, he traveled on Greyhound and Trailways buses to challenge discriminatory practices at various stops.
