Harold Evans

Sir Harold Matthew Evans was a British-American journalist and historian. He served as the editor of The Sunday Times from 1967 to 1981 and briefly led The Times. During his tenure at The Sunday Times, he notably spearheaded the newspaper's campaign to secure compensation for families affected by the drug thalidomide.
