Harsha Walia

Harsha Walia is a Vancouver-based writer and activist involved in immigration, Indigenous rights, and anti-capitalist movements. She has contributed to over thirty academic journals, anthologies, and newspapers. Walia served as the Executive Director of the BC Civil Liberties Association in 2020 and has worked extensively with various housing justice and women's advocacy organizations.
