Georges Prosper Remi, known by the pen name Hergé, was a Belgian cartoonist and illustrator. He is best known for creating The Adventures of Tintin, as well as the series Quick & Flupke and The Adventures of Jo, Zette and Jocko. His work is defined by the distinctive ligne claire drawing style, and he remains one of the most influential figures in 20th-century European comics.
