Intellectual History

Intellectual history, also known as the history of ideas, examines the evolution of human thought and the individuals who conceptualize and discuss these concepts. This field investigates ideas by analyzing them both as abstract propositions for critical application and within the concrete contexts of culture, life, and history. It operates on the premise that ideas cannot be separated from the thinkers who develop and apply them.
