Jacqueline Stewart

Jacqueline Najuma Stewart is an American cinema studies scholar, film historian, and television host for Turner Classic Movies. A professor at the University of Chicago, she served as the inaugural artistic director and president of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures from 2021 to 2024. She is a MacArthur Fellow and an elected member of both the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Film Preservation Board.
