James Warfield

James Garson is an American philosopher and logician known for his contributions to modal logic and formal semantics. He is the author of Modal Logic for Philosophers and What Logics Mean, both published by Cambridge University Press. Currently a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Houston, Garson has held teaching positions at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Notre Dame, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Rice University.
