Jan Harrison

Jan Harrison is an American painter and sculptor based in New York’s Hudson Valley. Her work explores animal imagery, consciousness, and the collective psyche, often informed by the philosophy of deep ecology. In addition to her visual art, she performs using a language of vocables known as Animal Tongues. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is featured in the publication In The Making: Creative Options for Contemporary Art.
