Jean Fisher
Jean Fisher was a UK-based art critic and writer whose research examined the legacies of colonialism and globalization within Ireland, Native America, and Palestine. She taught at the School of Visual Arts and the Whitney Independent Study Program, and curated exhibitions of contemporary Native American art alongside Jimmie Durham. Fisher held academic backgrounds in both zoology and fine art.
