Jean Giono

Jean Giono (1895–1970) was a French writer, novelist, and poet whose body of work includes screenplays, plays, and translations. Much of his fiction is set in the Provence region of France, reflecting his deep connection to the landscape. In addition to his literary contributions, he also worked as a film director.
