Jem Cohen

Jem Cohen is an Afghan-born American filmmaker and artist based in New York City. Known for his observational portraits of urban landscapes, he works across film, multichannel installations, and photography. His work is held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum, the National Gallery of Art, and the ACMI in Melbourne, and he has received support from the Guggenheim, Rockefeller, and Alpert foundations.
