John G. Hanhardt

John G. Hanhardt is an American author, art historian, and curator specializing in film and media arts. He served as the Consulting Senior Curator for Media Arts at the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, where he managed significant exhibitions, collections, and archives. Recognized as a leading scholar on the work of video artist Nam June Paik, Hanhardt has contributed extensively to the study and preservation of media arts.
