John Hanhardt

John G. Hanhardt is an American author, art historian, and curator specializing in film and media arts. He served as the Consulting Senior Curator for Media Arts at the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, where he focused on the development of exhibitions, collections, and archives. Hanhardt is widely recognized as a leading scholar on the work of video artist Nam June Paik.
