Jon Wiener

Jon Wiener is an American historian, journalist, and professor emeritus of U.S. history at the University of California, Irvine. Based in Los Angeles, he is a contributing editor for The Nation and host of the podcast Start Making Sense. His work includes the Los Angeles Times bestseller Set the Night on Fire, co-authored with Mike Davis, and extensive research regarding the FBI's surveillance of John Lennon.
