Jos De Gruyter

Jos De Gruyter (1899-1979) was a Dutch art critic, historian, and museum director. Beyond his administrative and critical contributions to the art world, he was an active graphic artist who produced works as an etcher, wood engraver, and exlibrist. Throughout his career, he served as an exhibition curator, shaping the presentation of art through his dual roles as a scholar and a practitioner.
