Josephine Johnson
Josephine Winslow Johnson was an American novelist, poet, and essayist. She gained early recognition as the youngest recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, which she won in 1935 for her debut novel, Now in November. Throughout her career, she published numerous short stories in publications such as The Atlantic Monthly and Vanity Fair, earning five O. Henry Awards for her work between 1934 and 1944.
