Judith Bernstein is a New York-based artist, painter, and draftsperson known for her phallic drawings and paintings. Her work often centers on an anthropomorphized screw motif, serving as a vehicle for her feminist and anti-war activism. A founding member of the A.I.R. Gallery, she was a significant figure during the emergence of the Feminist Art Movement.
