Julian Wasser

Julian Wolf Wasser was an American photographer recognized for documenting the Los Angeles arts scene during the 1960s and 1970s. After serving in a US Navy photographic reconnaissance unit, he settled in California, where he captured informal portraits of celebrities. His most notable work includes a staged photograph of Marcel Duchamp playing chess with Eve Babitz at the Pasadena Arts Museum.
