K. C. Chang

K. C. Chang was a Taiwanese anthropologist, archaeologist, and sinologist who served as the John E. Hudson Professor of Archaeology at Harvard University and a curator at the Peabody Museum. He was instrumental in introducing modern Western archaeological methods to the study of ancient Chinese history and translating key research for international audiences. His work pioneered the study of Taiwanese archaeology and advocated for a pluralistic approach to East Asian prehistory.
