Kim Hyesoon
Kim Hyesoon is a South Korean poet and the first woman to receive the Kim Su-yeong Literature Award, Midang Literary Award, Contemporary Poetry Award, and Daesan Literary Awards. Her extensive list of honors includes the Griffin Poetry Prize, the Samsung Ho-Am Prize in the Arts, and the National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry. In 2025, she became the first poet to win the Internationale Literaturpreis for her collection Autobiographie des Todes.
