Konrad Hugo Jarausch

Konrad H. Jarausch is a German-American historian and the Lurcy Professor of European Civilization at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His academic research focuses on German history, ranging from the rise of the Third Reich to the complexities of East Germany and cultural democratization following reunification. As the son of a German soldier, he is recognized as a critical scholar of the Nazi era.
