Kurt J. Isselbacher

Kurt Julius Isselbacher (1925–2019) was a German-born American physician and medical researcher. He served as the Mallinckrodt Distinguished Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and held the role of director emeritus at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. Throughout his career, he contributed to the field as a gastroenterologist and university teacher.
