Ladan Osman

Ladan Osman is a Somali-American poet, director, and photographer whose work explores themes of dislocation and migration. She is the author of The Kitchen Dweller's Testimony, which received the Sillerman First Book Prize, and Exiles of Eden, a recipient of the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award. In 2021, she was honored with a Whiting Award for her poetry.
