Leanne Betasamosake Simpson is a Mississauga Nishnaabeg writer, musician, and academic based in Peterborough, Ontario. A faculty member at the Dechinta Centre for Research and Learning, she is recognized for her contributions to literature and music, as well as her involvement in the Idle No More movement.
