Lionel Ziprin

Lionel Ziprin was an American poet and mystic who resided on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He was the grandson of the Orthodox rabbi Naftali Zvi Margolies Abulafia. Ziprin is noted for his family connection to the 15-LP set of Jewish liturgical music and Yiddish folklore recorded by his grandfather and ethnomusicologist Harry Smith during the 1950s.
