Lipset

Seymour Martin Lipset was an American sociologist and political scientist known for his work in political sociology, social stratification, and the study of democracy. He served as president of both the American Political Science Association and the American Sociological Association. Throughout his career, he wrote extensively on trade union organization, public opinion, and the sociology of intellectual life.
