Lyn Hejinian

Lyn Hejinian (1941–2024) was an American poet, essayist, translator, and publisher. Associated with the Language poets, she is recognized for her landmark work My Life and her collection of essays titled The Language of Inquiry. Her career spanned decades of contribution to contemporary poetry and critical writing.
