Mahmoud Darwish

Mahmoud Darwish was a Palestinian author and poet widely regarded as the national poet of Palestine. He authored the Palestinian Declaration of Independence in 1988 and produced a significant body of literature in Arabic. Throughout his career, he received numerous international awards for his writing and was proficient in English, French, and Hebrew.
