Marc Ferrez
Marc Ferrez was a Brazilian photographer active in Rio de Janeiro between 1843 and 1923. He is best known for his extensive documentation of railway construction, panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro, and the country's natural landscapes, including mountains and jungles. Photography historians regard his work as comparable to that of contemporaries like William Henry Jackson and Eadweard Muybridge.
