Margaret Morton

Margaret Morton was an American photographer, author, and professor at the Cooper Union School of Art. Beginning in the late 1980s, she documented New York City's homeless communities through photography and interviews. Her work captured the human stories within these structured yet temporary environments, often recording them shortly before their destruction by city authorities.
