Maria La Ribot

María José Ribot, known as La Ribot, is a Spanish-Swiss dancer, choreographer, and visual artist. Her practice integrates movement, the body, and personal experience, often incorporating self-designed costumes and scenery. With over 45 works spanning choreography, installations, and video, she explores the human body as a medium for poetic and political expression. She has received the National Dance Award, the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts, and the Swiss Grand Award for Dance.
