Mary E. Jones Parrish
Mary E. Jones Parrish (1892–1972) was an African American journalist, typist, and survivor of the 1921 Tulsa race massacre. She documented the events of the riot and compiled eyewitness accounts from other survivors. Her book, Events of the Tulsa Disaster, serves as a comprehensive historical record of the two-day massacre.
