Maureen Jennings

Maureen Ann Jennings is a British Canadian novelist best known for the Detective Murdoch series. Her work served as the foundation for the television program Murdoch Mysteries. In addition to her writing, she has contributed to the series as a creative consultant and occasional scriptwriter.
