Michael Kremer

Michael Kremer is an American development economist and university professor at the University of Chicago, where he also directs the Development Innovation Lab. Previously, he served as the Gates Professor of Developing Societies at Harvard University. In 2019, he was jointly awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his experimental approach to alleviating global poverty.
