Monticello

Monticello served as the primary residence and plantation of Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States. Located near Charlottesville, Virginia, the estate was designed by Jefferson and is recognized as a National Historic Landmark and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The property is also famously featured on the reverse side of the United States nickel.
