O E Butler
Octavia E. Butler was an American author known for her contributions to science fiction, speculative fiction, and fantasy. Throughout her career, she received numerous honors, including Hugo, Locus, and Nebula awards. In 1995, she became the first science fiction writer to be awarded a MacArthur Fellowship.
