Oleg Woolf
Oleg Woolf (1954-2011) was a Soviet and Moldovan writer who initially trained as a physicist and participated in geophysical expeditions across the USSR. Alongside his wife, Irina Mashinski, he founded the bilingual press company Stosvet and its journal, Cardinal Points. His literary body of work includes short stories, essays, and poetry, which appeared regularly in various anthologies and journals.
