Patrick
Patrick Süskind is a German writer and screenwriter born in Ambach am Starnberger See. He studied Medieval and Modern History at the University of Munich and in Aix-en-Provence. He gained international recognition for his 1985 novel Perfume: The Story of a Murderer and achieved theatrical success with his 1981 play Der Kontrabaß. Additionally, he has worked as a screenwriter for television productions including Monaco Franze and Kir Royal.
