Peter-Andre Alt

Peter-André Alt is a German literary scholar born in 1960. He has served as president of the Freie Universität Berlin and, since 2018, as president of the German Rectors' Conference. In addition to his academic leadership roles, he is an active university teacher and research fellow. He is married to the writer Sabine Alt and has two sons.
