Peter Plagens

Peter Plagens is a New York-based artist, critic, and novelist known for his abstract formalist paintings and his long-standing contributions to Artforum and Newsweek. He has authored three books on art and two novels, while his visual work has been featured in surveys at institutions including the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum. Plagens has received major fellowships for his dual career in painting and writing.
