Pierre Soulages was a French painter, printmaker, and sculptor whose career spanned over a century. His extensive body of work includes contributions as an illustrator, ceramicist, etcher, and theatre designer. His art is represented in major international museum collections, and a dedicated museum in his hometown of Rodez serves as a permanent home for his creative output.
