Rene J Dubos
René Jules Dubos was a French-American microbiologist, experimental pathologist, and environmentalist. He spent the majority of his scientific career at The Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research, with a brief tenure at Harvard Medical School. A recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction for his book So Human An Animal, he is widely recognized for popularizing the environmental maxim to think globally and act locally.
