Richard Diebenkorn

Richard Diebenkorn was an American painter and printmaker whose career spanned several significant movements. He is recognized for his contributions to abstract expressionism and the Bay Area Figurative Movement during the 1950s and 1960s. Later in his career, he achieved international acclaim for his Ocean Park series, which consists of extensive geometric and lyrical abstract paintings.
