Robert Roper
Robert Roper (1757–1838) was an English architect based in Preston, Lancashire. His professional portfolio included the design of new country houses such as Claughton Hall and Leagram Hall, as well as churches including Holy Trinity in Hoghton and St John the Evangelist in Clifton. Additionally, he oversaw the rebuilding of church naves in Kirkham and Broughton and added a façade to Thurnham Hall.
