Rudolfo A. Anaya

Rudolfo A. Anaya (1937–2020) was an American author widely recognized as a foundational figure in contemporary Chicano and New Mexican literature. He is best known for his 1972 novel, Bless Me, Ultima, which explored cultural themes that significantly influenced Latino writers. The work has since been adapted into both a film and an opera.
