Safiya Sinclair
Safiya Sinclair is a Jamaican poet and memoirist born in 1984. Her debut poetry collection, Cannibal, received the 2016 Whiting Award for poetry and the 2017 OCM Bocas Prize for Caribbean Literature. She currently serves as an associate professor of creative writing at Arizona State University.
