Serge Koussevitzky

Serge Koussevitzky was a Russian and American conductor, composer, and double-bassist. He is best recognized for his extensive tenure as the music director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, a position he held from 1924 to 1949. Throughout his career, he contributed significantly to the fields of classical music performance and music education.
